Get ready to learn things not traditionally taught to medical doctors!
Some of the things you will hear Dr. Buttar and Robert talk about in this week’s show are:

‘Forgotten organs’ may hold clues to new type-2 diabetes treatment – Immune disorders associated with type 2 diabetes could be better managed thanks to new research that shows that “forgotten organs” such as the spleen hold clues about the disease’s effect on the body. The new findings, published in Metabolomicstoday (Monday 10 June) found that important organs such as the spleen, kidneys and eyes revealed clues about the effects of raised blood sugar levels from type 2 diabetes at a metabolic level. Lead author of the report Dr. Sandrine Claus from the University of Reading said: “The most surprising finding from the study was that at a metabolic level, the spleen, a forgotten organ in type 2 diabetes that is involved in immune regulation, was far more affected by raised blood sugar levels than the heart, which gets a lot of attention because of the increased risk to develop cardiovascular pathologies.”

Unhealthy gut promotes spread of breast cancer, study finds – An unhealthy, inflamed gut causes breast cancer to become much more invasive and spread more quickly to other parts of the body, new research from the University of Virginia Cancer Center suggests. Melanie Rutkowski, Ph.D., of UVA’s Department of Microbiology, Immunology and Cancer Biology, found that disrupting the microbiome of mice caused hormone receptor-positive breast cancer to become more aggressive. Altering the microbiome, the collection of microorganisms that live in the gut and elsewhere, had dramatic effects in the body, priming the cancer to spread. “When we disrupted the microbiome’s equilibrium in mice by chronically treating them antibiotics, it resulted in inflammation systemically and within the mammary tissue,” she said. “In this inflamed environment, tumor cells were much more able to disseminate from the tissue into the blood and to the lungs, which is a major site for hormone receptor-positive breast cancer to metastasize.”

Waning potency of pertussis vaccine a significant contributor to recent whooping cough outbreaks – In a large new Kaiser Permanente study, children who were up to date on their pertussis vaccine schedule were far less likely to develop the disease than unvaccinated children. However, most pertussis cases were in fully vaccinated children. The risk of vaccinated children becoming ill increased with the time since vaccination, suggesting that waning effectiveness between doses was a significant contributor to recent outbreaks. The study, “Acellular Pertussis Vaccine Effectiveness Over Time,” was published on June 10 in the journal Pediatrics. Pertussis, widely known as whooping cough, is a highly contagious and potentially life-threatening respiratory infection caused by the bacterium Bordetella pertussis. To help prevent it, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends five doses of DTaP vaccine—a combination vaccine that protects against pertussis, diphtheria, and tetanus—between the ages of two months and six years.

Chickenpox Vaccine Shields Against Shingles Too – Shingles isn’t usually considered a kids’ disease, but children can get this painful condition. Fortunately, the chickenpox vaccine can also protect them against it, a new study finds. “The virus that causes chickenpox also causes shingles. It’s pretty uncommon in kids, but we wanted to see what would happen to the rates of shingles among children over time as more kids received the vaccine,” said study lead author Sheila Weinmann. She’s a senior investigator and epidemiologist at Kaiser Permanente Northwest in Portland, Ore. What the researchers found was that kids who were vaccinated against chickenpox had a 78% lower risk of developing shingles. And the rate of shingles dropped in the entire group — vaccinated and unvaccinated — by 72% between 2003 and 2014. Weinmann said the overall drop was large because so much less of the virus was circulating in the general population. The study was published online June 10 in Pediatrics. Dr. Anne Gershon from Columbia University wrote a companion editorial that argued all children should get the vaccine for the dual protection it offers.

Get ready to learn things not traditionally taught to medical doctors!
Some of the things you will hear Dr. Buttar and Robert talk about in this week’s show are:

Monsanto Has Been Ordered To Pay More Than $2 Billion – To A Couple With Cancer A California jury awarded $2 billion on Monday to an elderly couple that developed non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma after years of using Monsanto’s popular weed killer Roundup, delivering a major blow to the agrochemical giant. The jury found the company failed to warn consumers that Roundup could cause cancer, attorneys said, dealing the company its third major loss in court in a series of lawsuits claiming the herbicide was behind the development of cancer. “Two billion dollars in punitive damages is as clear a statement as you can get that they [Monsanto] have to change what they’re doing,” Brent Wisner, who represented Alva and Alberta Pilliod, said in at a press conference. “Monsanto needs to change its conduct.” A spokesperson for Bayer, the parent company for Monsanto, told BuzzFeed News the company believed the $2 billion punitive judgment was “excessive and unjustifiable” and it planned to appeal the decision. “Bayer is disappointed with the jury’s decision and will appeal the verdict in this case,” the company said.

For people with strong life purpose, making healthier choices may be less effortful, new study shows – Ever wonder how some people seem to meet their fitness goals with ease and love eating healthy foods while others constantly struggle to do either? According to a new study from the Communication Neuroscience Lab at the Annenberg School, people with stronger life purpose are more likely to accept messages promoting health behavior change than those with a weaker sense of purpose. And this might be because they experience less decisional conflict while considering health advice. “Purpose in life has been robustly associated with health in previous studies,” says postdoctoral fellow Yoona Kang, lead author of the study, “but the mechanism through which life purpose may promote healthy living has been unclear.” For this study, published in Health Psychology, Kang and her co-authors chose to test out a theory: that making health decisions might take less effort for those with higher sense of purpose in life. According to Kang, health decisions, even those as simple and mundane as choosing between the elevator and the stairs, involve some amount of decisional conflict. But what if some people experience less conflict than others when considering these options, perhaps because they have a stronger guiding purpose that helps resolve the conflicts?

Being wise is good for your health—review looks at emerging science of wisdom – Can science measure what it means to be wise? A growing body of evidence suggests that wisdom is a complex concept that contributes to mental health and happiness, according to a review in the May/June issue of Harvard Review of Psychiatry.  Different aspects of wisdom may be traced to specific areas of the brain, and might possibly be enhanced by behavioral interventions, suggests the article by Dilip V. Jeste, MD, and Ellen E. Lee, MD, of the Sam and Rose Stein Institute for Research on Aging, University of California San Diego. They write, “Wisdom has important implications at both individual and societal levels, and warrants further research as a major contributor to human thriving.” What is wisdom? While it has been discussed in religion and philosophy for centuries, scientific research on wisdom has accelerated in the past few decades. While it may seem impossible to define and measure wisdom, Drs. Jeste and Lee note that research has demonstrated the validity of other psychological constructs such as consciousness, stress, and resilience. Based on an in-depth review from ancient writings to modern times, Drs. Jeste and Lee propose that wisdom can be defined as “a complex human trait with several specific components: social decision making, emotion regulation, prosocial behaviors, self-reflection, acceptance of uncertainty, decisiveness, and spirituality.” Over the years, several approaches to measuring wisdom have been proposed, although each has its limitations.

Questions of The Day!

RSB and Dr. B,
My fiance and I are on a diet. We are actually fasting similar to what Dr. Buttar is doing. But, we are also trying to drink the appropriate amount of water our body needs. I am a 180lb guy (I’m short) and have been trying to drink approximately 100 ounces of filtered water/day from my Berkey. Now to the issue, my mom hears all the stories that to much water is bad for you. And on top of that, I only have one kidney. Is there such a thing as too much water if I only have one kidney?
Thanks, as always, for all you both do for everyone!!!
Mike in Louisville

Hi Robert – I am hoping you will have Dr. Buttar on your program today. I have a friend who is facing breast cancer. Her question is: what kinds of tests does Dr. Buttar perform during his prescribed treatments that show that the treatments are actually effective? My friend has done natural medicine and diet for many years. She is very informed and is considering contacting Dr. Buttar to receive his help with her cancer. She lives in Florida. Thanks.

Nancy

Get ready to learn things not traditionally taught to medical doctors!
Some of the things you will hear Dr. Buttar and Robert talk about in this week’s show are:

Nearly half of resident physicians report burnout – Resident physician burnout in the U.S. is widespread, with the highest rates concentrated in certain specialties, according to research from Mayo Clinic, OHSU and collaborators. The findings appear on Tuesday, Sept. 18, in the Journal of the American Medical Association. Physician burnout is a dangerous mix of exhaustion and depersonalization that contributes to physicians making mistakes while administering health care. The study found 45 percent of respondents experienced at least one major symptom of burnout, with those in urology, neurology, emergency medicine and general surgery at the highest risk. Regardless of specialty, high levels of anxiety and low levels of empathy reported during medical school were associated with burnout symptoms during residency. “Our data show wide variability in the prevalence of burnout by clinical specialty, and that anxiety, social support and empathy during medical school relate to the risk of burnout during residency,” says Liselotte Dyrbye, M.D., a Mayo Clinic researcher and first author of the article.

First gut bacteria may affect future ability to fight chronic diseases  – Differences in the first microorganisms that arrive in the gut after birth, and their order of arrival, have a lasting impact on how gastrointestinal system looks later in life, according to a study. Researchers at the University of Alberta believe serious chronic diseases can be warded off by adjusting the microbiome of gastrointestinal tract, which is unique to the body — like fingerprints. Their findings were published Tuesday in the journal eLife. “Each of us harbors a microbiome that is vastly distinct, even for identical twins,” microbial ecologist Dr. Jens Walter said in a University of Alberta press release. “Microbiomes are important for our health, but they appear to be shaped by many unknown factors, so it’s hugely important to understand why we are all different.” Problems with the gastrointestinal system have been linked to obesity, Type 2 diabetes, heart disease, inflammatory bowel disease, colon cancer, neurological disorders, autism and allergies. “If we know what drives specific microbiomes in specific people, we can have a much more rational approach to potentially altering the microbiome, and developing strategies to address those diseases,” Walter said.

‘Spanish flu pandemic’ could return, doctors warn – It was the deadliest pandemic of the 20th century, killing tens of millions of people around the world in the months following the end of the First World War. And as historians mark the centenary of the Spanish flu’s outbreak this month, doctors are warning that a deadly flu strain could return and spread across the globe. Dr Fari Ahmad, a Cheshire GP, warned against the “complacent” assumption it could not happen in the 21st century. “In theory, yes,” said the NHS practitioner when asked on BBC Breakfast if we could experience something similar to the Spanish flu. “The flu has not gone away completely and it’s certainly not harmless,” she explained. “When the Spanish flu happened I don’t think people quite understood what was going on for a while. “We understand how the flu spreads so I think we are in a better place, but I wouldn’t say be complacent.” It is not know precisely where the 1918 Spanish flu began, but it took its name from the first cases discovered and publicized in Spain. At its height, the disease is believed to have infected a third of the world’s population.

US Alzheimer’s cases to nearly triple by 2060 – By 2060, almost 14 million Americans will suffer from Alzheimer’s disease, a number that’s nearly three times as high as today, a new report projects. “This study shows that as the U.S. population increases, the number of people affected by Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias will rise, especially among minority populations,” said Dr. Robert Redfield, director of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The agency report noted that 5 million Americans—1.6 percent of the population—had Alzheimer’s disease in 2014. But that number is estimated to increase to 13.9 million by 2060, equaling nearly 3.3 percent of a projected population of 417 million people. Currently, Alzheimer’s disease is the fifth leading cause of death for Americans age 65 and older, the CDC said. The new report finds that white Americans will continue to comprise the majority of Alzheimer’s cases, simply due to their sheer numbers. But minorities will be hit especially hard. Among people 65 and older, blacks currently have the highest prevalence of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementia at 13.8 percent, the CDC said. That’s followed by Hispanics (12.2 percent), and whites (10.3 percent).

Get ready to learn things not traditionally taught to medical doctors!
Some of the things you will hear Dr. Buttar and Robert talk about in this week’s show are:

Many breast cancer patients can skip chemo, big study finds Most women with the most common form of early-stage breast cancer can safely skip chemotherapy without hurting their chances of beating the disease, doctors are reporting from a landmark study that used genetic testing to gauge each patient’s risk. The study is the largest ever done of breast cancer treatment, and the results are expected to spare up to 70,000 patients a year in the United States and many more elsewhere the ordeal and expense of these drugs. “The impact is tremendous,” said the study leader, Dr. Joseph Sparano of Montefiore Medical Center in New York. Most women in this situation don’t need treatment beyond surgery and hormone therapy, he said.

New Immunotherapy Treatment Removes All Tumors In Woman With Advanced Metastatic BreastCancer Research published today in Nature Medicine by scientists at the National Cancer Institute (NCI) has described a new immunotherapy approach, which led to a complete disappearance of tumors in a woman with advanced metastatic breast cancer who only had months to live. The findings show how naturally-occurring tumor infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs) were extracted from the patient’s tumor, grown outside of her body to boost their numbers and injected back into the patient to tackle the cancer. The patient had previously received several treatments including hormone therapies and chemotherapy, but nothing had stopped the cancer progressing. After the treatment, all of the patient’s tumors disappeared and 22 months later, she is still in remission.

Increase in lifestyle-related cancers over past decade spotlights need for prevention Lifestyle-related cancers, such as lung, colorectal, and skin cancers, have increased globally over the past decade, according to the most comprehensive analysis of cancer-related health outcomes and patterns ever conducted. “While the increase in lung, colorectal, and skin cancers over the past decade is concerning, the prevention potential is substantial,” said Dr. Christina Fitzmaurice, Assistant Professor of Global Health at the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation (IHME) at the University of Washington, whose organization coordinated the study. “Vital prevention efforts such as tobacco control, dietary interventions, and broader health promotion campaigns need to be scaled up in response to this rise in lifestyle-related cancers.” The study, published today in JAMA Oncology, covers 1990 to 2016; it is part of the Global Burden of Disease (GBD) study, a comprehensive effort to quantify health internationally. Researchers reviewed 29 cancer groups, including lung, breast, prostate, skin, colorectal, pancreatic, stomach, and liver cancers, as well as leukemia and other cancer groups (full list below). The study provides findings by age and sex for 195 countries and territories.

Mask-wearing should be the focus of flu prevention campaigns A PUSH to protect people against the flu with a “weak” vaccine is overshadowing effective prevention methods such as handwashing and mask-wearing, warns a public health expert. Dr Chris Del Mar, Professor of Public Health at Bond University has challenged the value of influenza vaccinations while speaking at the GPs Down Under Conference on the Gold Coast. He claims the influenza vaccine has been “oversold” in Australia and said handwashing and mask-wearing should be the focus of flu prevention campaigns. Prof Del Mar pointed to a review that found seasonal flu vaccines only reduced the rate of laboratory confirmed influenza cases by between 1 to 2 per cent. “Influenza is indeed a true threat to public health and I am not a vaccine sceptic in general, but annual influenza vaccinations do little to protect against serious illness,” Prof Del Mar told AAP.

New findings demonstrate how the food we eat affects biochemical signals in the gut For years, researchers have studied how the body’s microbiome impacts virtually every aspect of human health ranging from the immune system to mental wellness. But, a recent study led by a multi-institutional research team, including the University of Maryland, several institutions in South Korea, and Purdue University, sheds new light on how the food we eat can affect the biochemical signaling processes in the gut microbiome. The study, published today in Science Advances, is one of the first to link what we eat – and the generation of glucose – to a bacterial signaling process known as “quorum sensing.” This process involves the synthesis of small signaling molecules, called autoinducers (AI), which are secreted by individual bacteria but serve to coordinate their responses. Once the AI level reaches a threshold – signaling a “quorum” of cells – the AI signals are transported intracellularly, where they activate gene expression and enable coordinated phenotypic responses.

Should I Sign The AAP Doctor’s Form to Refuse Vaccines for My Child? With the United States having descended into an authoritarian society, the ability to make even the most personal and important choices is disappearing every day. First, public schools began strictly enforcing vaccine policies, forcing parents to acquire exemption forms if they did not want to jab their children with toxic chemicals before sending them into one of the most remedial educational systems in the world. Then, states began passing laws eliminating those exemptions. Soon after that, insurance companies and fanatical authoritarian doctors began acting as “enforcement” arms and bullies to force parents into vaccinating their children. Many of these doctors have betrayed their Hippocratic oath by refusing to see unvaccinated children as patients. Others have even gone so far as to contact DSS/CPS and report parents who refuse to vaccinate their children. While some of these doctors will see unvaccinated children as patients, before they will do so they are attempting to force parents into signing a form designed by the American Academy of Pediatrics that states that the parent is aware that vaccines work and that they are endangering their child by not having their child vaccinated.

Get ready to learn things not traditionally taught to medical doctors!
Some of the things you will hear Dr. Buttar and Robert talk about in this week’s show are:

She Survived Breast Cancer, But Says A Treatment Side Effect ‘Almost Killed’ Her – After Virginia Harrod was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer in 2014, she had a double mastectomy. Surgeons also removed 16 lymph nodes from under her armpit and the area around her breast, to see how far the cancer had spread and to determine what further treatment might be needed. Then she underwent radiation therapy. As it turned out, the removal of those lymph nodes, along with the radiation, put Harrod at risk for another disorder — lymphedema, a painful and debilitating swelling of the soft tissue of the arms or legs, and/or an increased vulnerability to infection.

Los Alamos Study Finds Airport Scanners Alter DNA – Can we ever believe what our government tells us about airport security devices? Apparently not. First they told us those X-ray scanners (that showed way too many naked body parts) were perfectly safe. Even the manufacturer of the device, Rapidscan, openly admitted the scanners had not been adequately tested. The truth was later revealed that the safety tests turned out to be totally rigged, as reported by Natural News. With fabricated results, the technology was quickly rushed into every airport worldwide.  No one listened to what the scientists in the field of radiation were trying to tell them – it’s not safe.

Powassan, West Nile viruses cause Zika-like damage to fetuses – In 2016, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention confirmed that the Zika virus caused birth defects in babies born to women who had been infected while pregnant. This was the first mosquito-borne disease known to cause birth defects. Since then, images of babies with underdeveloped heads, born to pregnant women infected with Zika virus, have touched hearts around the world. Now, a study suggests that two viruses that are related to Zika can cause similar birth defects.

Are Many Modern Diseases Linked to the Failed Mass Swine Flu Vaccination in 1976? – Crohn’s. Lupus. Autism. ADHD. Food allergies. Celiac disease. Sjögren’s syndrome. Polymyalgia rheumatica. Multiple sclerosis. Anklyosing spondylitis. Type 1 diabetes. Vasculitis. Peripheral neuropathy. The list goes on, and on, and on. We are being increasingly diagnosed with these conditions and diseases of unknown origin, and science has very little to say – why would autoimmune diseases and mysterious diseases of inflammation be so prevalent? When did this increase start? As an observer and participant in modern biomedical research, and a lover of deep history, I tend to focus not on the immediate or last few years, but look for trends of accumulating risk over longer periods of time.

Scientists explore ties between Alzheimer’s and our immune system – Beer has fueled a lot of bad ideas. But on a Friday afternoon in 2007, it helped two Alzheimer’s researchers come up with a really a good one. Neuroscientists Robert Moir and Rudolph Tanzi were sipping Coronas in separate offices during “attitude adjustment hour” at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard’s largest teaching hospital. And, by chance, each scientist found himself wondering about an apparent link between Alzheimer’s disease and the immune system.

Some of the things you will hear Dr. Buttar and Robert talk about in this week’s show are:

Once Upon A Time There Were Aluminum-free Adjuvant Vaccines: What Happened? – Do you realize that aluminum adjuvants in vaccines do not require clinical approval? It’s the vaccine that gets approval—that’s the technicality as delineated by various independent vaccine researchers! That being said, aluminum is a nerve toxin with neurotoxic adverse effects and probable “cause and effect” associations for various diseases, most notably Multiple Sclerosis, where the myelin sheath is destroyed.

Doctors warn breast cancer treatment increases risk of heart disease – Patients who undergo breast cancer treatment are at a greater risk of heart disease, according to a recent warning from the American Heart Association. The warning was published Thursday, ahead of Friday’s “National Wear Red Day,” which encourages people to wear red to raise awareness about women’s risk of heart disease. Dr. Dharmesh Patel is a cardiologist at the Stern Cardiovascular Foundation in Southaven Miss., and board president of the Mid-South American Heart Association. “It’s very important we treat breast cancer,” Patel said. “But we have to understand that sometimes the treatments for breast cancer can actually affect the heart.”

Right to Try Bill: Why Doctors Are Pushing Back – Doctors and medical ethicists are criticizing a bill supported by President Donald Trump that would allow people with fatal illnesses to have access to drugs not yet approved by federal authorities. “Right to Try” is a policy that Trump mentioned during his State of the Union Addresson Jan. 30. “People who are terminally ill should not have to go from country to country to seek a cure — I want to give them a chance right here at home,” he said. “It is time for the Congress to give these wonderful Americans the ‘right to try.’”

Exposure to Bisphenol A ‘hard to avoid’ in everyday life – 86 per cent of teenagers have traces of Bisphenol A (BPA), a chemical compound used to make plastics, in their body, an Engaged Research public engagement project in collaboration with the University of Exeter has found. Measurable levels of BPA, an endocrine-disrupting chemical, were found in the urine of the vast majority of the 94 17-19 year olds tested, according to research at the University of Exeter led by Professor Lorna Harries, Associate Professor in Molecular Genetics, and Professor Tamara Galloway, Professor of Ecotoxicology.

Meditation has limited role in making you a better person, says study – For decades many people have claimed meditation can change how we behave towards others and make us more compassionate. But now new research has suggested meditation’s role in making individuals better people is limited. The study by scientists at Coventry University in the UK, Massey University in New Zealand, and Radboud University in the Netherlands, reviewed more than 20 studies that investigated the effect of various types of meditation, such as mindfulness and loving-kindness, on pro-social feelings and behaviors.

Get ready to learn things not traditionally taught to medical doctors!
Some of the things you will hear Dr. Buttar and Robert talk about in this week’s show are:

Chemotherapy found to increase the number of tumor cells circulating in the blood, spreading it to previously unaffected areas Chemotherapy is a pretty scary prospect, but a lot of people are convinced by their doctors that its potential benefits are worth enduring the very unpleasant side effects. Unfortunately, a new study shows that getting chemotherapy before surgery can actuallyincrease the tumor cells in your blood and spread the cancer to other areas. This adds to the growing body of evidence that chemotherapy isn’t as solid of a cancer treatment as many doctors make it seem.

Study: The medical community isn’t prepared for the looming pandemic of neurodegenerative diseases like Parkinson’s Parkinson’s disease is the second most common neurodegenerative disease plaguing people today, with an estimated 1 million Americans are battling this illness – more than Lou Gehrig’s disease, muscular dystrophy and multiple sclerosis combined. Parkinson’s causes certain nerve cells in the brain to die, affecting movement and causing worsening tremors and stiffness. The direct and indirect costs associated with the disease are believed to exceed $25 billion a year. Now, a disturbing new study by researchers from the University of Rochester Medical Center has warned that the number of patients battling the disease will “soon grow to pandemic proportions.”

Question of The Day!

My wife has pain and bloating on her left side. She has had a colonoscopy, endoscopy and neither showed anything. After the endoscopy , (which was the 1st procedure) she hasn’t been able to go to the bathroom on a regular basis. her guts hurt and it feels like she has parasites in her intestines. She has been diagnosed with possible Irritable Bowel Syndrome and/or Diverticulitis. She doesn’t believe those diagnosis, she has taken all kinds of over the counter products to go to the bathroom. She cannot sleep comfortably most nights and is starting to give up, surgery of any kind is not an option. Any suggestions? Thank you

Phillip

Loneliness can damage health, triggering inflammation and neurological
changes
Loneliness can tank your mood, but can it affect your health, too? All signs point to yes. It turns out that feeling lonely can do more than make you sad: It can predict the way your body will respond to and bounce back from various health challenges. Lonely people are more likely to get sick, and researchers want to know why. Three of them recently spoke about the current state of loneliness research and how scientists are responding. You can listen to their discussion on Aspen Ideas to Go, the podcast of the Aspen Ideas Festival, or watch the discussion online.

Study reveals breast cancer can return years after the “all clear” – Experts already pushing to keep women on prescriptions longer (no mention of lifestyle)  The findings of a new study out of England have blown yet another hole in the conventional cancer therapy myth, revealing that women who undergo typical procedures like chemotherapy and radiation for breast cancer often see the deadly disease return – in some cases up to 20 years after they were supposedly “cured.” As part of their investigation, researchers fromOxford University looked at 88 separate clinical trials involving a total of 62,923 women who were treated for breast cancer. From this data they concluded that breast cancer often lies “dormant” in women’s bodies even after treatment has ended, which is why many conventional oncologists advise their patients to continue taking hormone drugs like tamoxifen in order to keep tumors at bay.

Get ready to learn things not traditionally taught to medical doctors!

..

Some of the things you will hear Dr. Buttar and Robert talk about in this week’s show are:

  • First up for out medical all-stars is the subject of Cancer treatment, and the avoidance of harmful radiation, toxins filled protocols being utilized by allopathic oncologists around the country.
  • Is the new 21 gene test OncotypeDX, which helps accurately predict whether women with breast cancer can be treated without chemotherapy, a step in the right direction?
  • Now something that is defiantly in the wrong direct, are the results from a new study which recommends that Pregnant women diagnosed with cancer do not need a termination and can start treatment immediately without worrying unduly about the effects of drugs or radiation on their unborn babies. Who comes up with this academic garbage?
  • Back to a positive development in the world of cancer treatment domestically, a new large study has exposed something both RSB and Dr. Buttar have been screaming for years, the fact that computer-assisted detection used in most U.S. mammograms adds absolutely no benefit to breast cancer screening while actually substantially increasing costs!
  • Now into the world of sci-fi, as what was once thought to be science fiction has come one step closer to fruition, as DARPA, the secretive research arm of the Department of Defense, has funded a project that involves implanting microchips into soldiers’ brains, with the hope that they can one day enhance performance on the battlefield and repair traumatized brains once the fog of war has lifted. Should we feel any better that its currently only be tested on volunteers?
  • And to end the night on a bang, the medical establishment is finally starting to let the truth slip out, as a medical expert has come out this week, pointing to the fact that the evidence is starting to tie hormone-disrupting chemicals to obesity and diabetes.

Get ready to learn things not traditionally taught to medical doctors!

..

Some of the things you will hear Dr. Buttar and Robert talk about in this week’s show are:

  • According to a new study breast cancer patients who report more side effects of their hormone therapy drugs and less confidence communicating with their doctors are more likely to intentionally or unintentionally miss a dose.  Could this be further evidence that the word is spreading that these drugs are often worse than what they are being prescribed to treat?

  • RSB & Dr. Buttar will also weigh in on whether pollution could be to blame for why dementia is killing more people and being diagnosed earlier than ever, as that very theory is actively being floated by researchers involved in a study of patients in 21 countries from 1989 to 2010.

  • They will also give their take on another study in which nearly one in five teens has specific health care needs that are not receiving attention, and how this may set them up for poorer physical and mental health in adulthood.

  • And with public school heading back into session RSB & Dr. Buttar will discuss the fervor being pushed on the vulnerable minds of concerned parents, as the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) urges “all people” to focus on vaccination to keep Johnny and Sally safe as they head back to class.
